For the release of Nine Mile by internationally acclaimed reggae artist Alborosie, I designed the complete vinyl and CD packaging for VP Records.
The visual direction is rooted in authenticity and place, drawing inspiration from Jamaica’s landscapes, textures, and cultural colors.

The cover features an original photograph taken by me during a research trip to Jamaica, capturing a real Jamaican yard painted in the iconic red, gold, and green palette. The image was selected to reflect the raw, organic spirit of the album and the symbolic importance of Nine Mile as a cornerstone of reggae heritage.

The interior packaging continues this narrative through warm, earthy tones, artist photography, textured backgrounds, and clean typographic layouts for track listings and credits.

By combining original photography with thoughtful editorial design, the final packaging feels grounded, vibrant, and deeply connected to Alborosie’s roots-reggae identity.
